We will be creating Investment-Fund Programme to support and encourage our fashion students and local designers in order to make the Middle East fashion industry sustainable in all fields and position it internationally.
Our mission is to represent designers in the Middle East to the outside world, to fill the gap between national and international designers, to put a shine on their talents and set the Middle East on a global scale. More of this will be announced in January 2021.
It will help ensure that the fashion industry continues to retain the best talent to inspire more 'Jeunes Createurs' to work in the apparel industries. We offer an apprenticeship programme for training a new generation of practitioners with on-the-job training and accompanying study. Through an apprenticeship programme, young designers can obtain relevant work place experience while acquiring the skills and credentials that employers value.
The Middle East Fashion Council is proud to create educational and scholarship programs for students in the local fashion industry. We will help students find their passion and develop their skills, achieve their fullest potential and help empower the next generation with a committee that will award our promising and talented professional designers.
We will be concentrating on the personal development of the individual by helping them witness our mission, vision, statement, values and practices. Graduate interns become part of our team where they work, gain a deep insight of the fashion sector and add value to their experience, our Council and the apparel industry.
